Springhill Medical Center offers comprehensive orthopaedic care. Featuring Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology and ConforMIS patient-specific implants, we streamline diagnosis, surgery, and rehabilitation for optimal care.
Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology
Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Technology provides you with a personalized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy. First, a CT scan of the diseased hip or knee joint is taken. This CT scan is uploaded into the Mako System software, where a 3D model of your hip or knee will be created. Learn more about Mako knee replacements and Mako hip replacements.
ConforMIS
While there are other technologies available, such as robotic assistance, these advancements still use the conventional off-the-shelf knee implants, thus still having the potential for anatomic mismatches. ConforMIS total knee and partial knee replacements, on the other hand, are patient specific, thus produce a comfortable fit and allow more natural movement.
